Avy Jetter writes, draws and self publishes the comic book Nuthin Good Ever Happens at 4 a.m. and is an avid horror and gore movie fan. Avy Jetter lives and works in Oakland ca. and devotes her time to organizing community events and zine fests. When she isn’t drawing aliens and monsters or just regular folks she self publishes zines about race, culture and Black history. Currently you may find her work in the Comics Anthology Artists Against Police Brutality published by Rosarium, The Encyclopedia of Black Comics published by Fulcrum, Black Comix Returns published by Lion Forge and soon to be released, Drawing Power, Women’s Stories of Sexual Violence, Harassment and Survival published by Abrams ComicsArts.
